Naily News #44

There is still time to enter my August Giveaway.  Click here to find out how you can win Chi Chi's Eye Magic.

Nihrida shows what happens when American Apparel meets Essence.

Kris is wondering why Nubar's Knight's Armour doesn't get more love.  Looking at her swatches I have to agree.  Why don't I have this?!

Just click.  You'll thank me.

Oh De-Luce-Cious...... I love you.

Milani Bare it All is like the nail polish world's equivalent of Urban Decay's Naked Palette.  In other words, awesomesauce.

Kaz is rocking the Hard Candy.  Check outs Part I and Part II.

Somewhat nail related, please check out my girl, Anita's, site.  She's just awesome, she loves Veruca Salt like I do and, quite frankly, if she was into girls and I was into girls, I'd totally stalk her.

If you have a great nail related post to share, paste a link in the comments.

Otherwise, read on to find out about my week .

This week has been all about pulling together my September Giveaway, which is an important one because it's focused on celebrating my one year in blogging anniversary.  I have a great selection of Australian lacquers to give away (thanks to some great sponsors who have contributed) and a couple of Illamasqua goodies for followers.  Stay tuned on Wednesday to find out what / how you can win!

In other news, I've become aware that my life is pretty boring.  Nothing much exciting happens, aside from that guy on the train who picks his nose and then rubs it on the window, and most of my day revolves around when I can eat.  Is anyone else as obsessed with food as I am?

I've had lunch at Tazio twice this week, Spaghetti Tree once, Barbagallo once, and I've been haunting the cafe at Parliament Station like someone who has died but doesn't realise it.  I know I've gone too far when the staff see me walking up and start making my order because they already know what I want.

Speaking of food, I bought a new Raclette this week.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Raclette, it's a cooking apparatus that you put in the middle of the table, and everyone pretty much cooks their own meal. I like the idea of communal eating, and everyone eating at their own pace, so this suits me down to a tea.  Can't wait to christen it.

Oh, I had a break this week.  The index finger of my swatching hand.  This is the first break in nearly a year so I guess I should consider myself lucky.  I thought about using falsies but I've decided to keep it real and swatch with short nails.

Wow, this was one heck of a Grandpa Simpson post.  I'll sign off now whilst you guys curse me for you losing two minutes of your life that you will never get back.  Have a great week everyone!
