Today is a quickie post (my aunt is being discharged from ICU and going back to the ward, so I need to get to the hospital) and it's a lacquer I believe I have swatched previously.
I'm as slack as a tyre of an escaping felon's stolen car on 'World's Wildest Police Chases'.
This is a streaky mess but, man, I love the colour. I could wear it every day of the week and never get bored.

Boots 17 - Peacock
This week is a big week. YGF will launch on Thursday but, perhaps more importantly, it's my wedding anniversary on Wednesday!
So I wanted to kick off this week with a BANG, and I certainly think Boots 17's Peacock fits that bill.
This is simply stunning. The colour is just phenomenal.
The formula though..... not so stunning. Maybe because it's a fast finish, this will drag pretty easily and quickly. And it streaks like a drunk at the football.
But I can tolerate all of that for this colour. It's glorious.
I have a whole lot of English lacquers this week (thanks again to my mother in law, Kath, for her largesse) so, English ladies, sit back and enjoy!

Boots 17 - Risky Red
Ooooh, you guys all know how I love a good red. I also like reds of the nail polish variety. *Boom Tish*
Boots 17's Risky Red, is one hell of a way to start the week. Talk about a kick start to the heart!
I love blue reds and this is about as blue as they come. It's just old Hollywood glamour in a bottle.
Application on this was good. I had a few problems getting a rounded edge on my index finger but that was more a problem of operator error rather than the polish itself.
Risky Red glides on smoothly and is opaque in one coat, although the swatch here is two coats. Drying time is average, hence I'd recommend a Seche Vite topcoat if you're in a hurry.
This is a lovely red and one I will definitely be wearing more of, especially as we head into autumn and winter here in Australia. What do you guys think?
